Bobcats Claim Tenth at Kingsmill Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Quinnipiac women's golf finished play at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, they placed 10th in a field of 19 at the tournament held at the Kingsmill River Course Monday and Tuesday. The Bobcats finished the second round of play today as well as the entire third round.
Fuge Zhang and Kaylee Sakoda lead the way for the Bobcats, each finishing tied for 16th. They both shot a 231 (+15). Zhang shot a 78 and 79 in the second and third rounds.
Sakoda shot 75 and 82 for the second and third rounds.
The Bobcats finished in 10th while shooting a 946 (+82). They finished one shot ahead of Radford who shot a 947 (+83). Pennsylvania won the tournament, shooting a 906 (+42), and beating High Point by two strokes.
Aimee Uchida was the third Bobcat on the leaderboard, tying for 39th while shooting a 238 (+22). She shot a 75 and 85 in the second and third rounds. Emily Luu, rounded out the group for the Bobcats, tying for 72nd while shooting a 246 (+30). She also went 83 and 78 over the last two rounds of play.
The Bobcats will be back in action in two weeks, traveling to Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings on The Hudson, N.Y. on Monday, April 10.
