Bobcats Roll Past Central Connecticut

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — After a 3-3 start to the contest, the Quinnipiac University women's lacrosse team kicked it into high gear, scoring 13 of the next 15 to run away from Central Connecticut on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcat offense featured nine different goalscorers, including the first career tallies for Mary Hage and Caroline Real.
Desiree Kleberg and Sophia Iaccino each added first-half, hat tricks as the Bobcats raced out to a 10-3 advantage at the break.
EllaGrace Delmond, Angelina Sparacio and Mia Delmond all added multi-goal outings, while Melissa Murphy had a standout day on the back line with four GBs and three CTs to anchor a Bobcat defense that held Central Connecticut scoreless over a stretch of 33:28 as Quinnipiac went on an 11-0 run to take control.
The Bobcats almost doubled up Central in the shot department, totaling 33 to the Blue Devils' 18.

Quinnipiac closes out the month of March and opens up MAAC play on Saturday, hosting Marist for QU Alumni Day. First draw is slated for Noon and can be seen live on ESPN+.
