ROCK HILL, S.C.—The Quinnipiac softball team shutout Winthrop in their first game with Hannah Davis' homerun being the only scoring play of the game. Davis tallied her first homerun of the year and in her collegiate career. Sydney Horan struck out eight and allowed only three hits through seven innings.

The Bobcats lost the second matchup to the Eagles by a score of 5-0. Mary Fogg, Natalia Apatiga and Hannah Davis each recorded a hit.

The Eagles took charge in the fifth inning, with a runner on third a single up the middle from K. Little brought Pa. Rivas home and the score 1-0 Eagles.
A single and a double from the Eagles brought in three more runs to give Winthrop a 4-0 lead heading into the six.
