BRONX, N.Y. – Sean Swenson led the offense with two RBIs as the Bobcats came up short in the middle game of a three-game set at Fordham, 6-4, on Saturday afternoon at Houlihan Park.

With the loss, the Bobcats fell to 4-8 overall on the season, while the Rams improved to 3-11 on the 2023 campaign with the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rams struck first, plating four runs in the opening frame to jump out to a 4-0 lead. The Bobcats were able to cut the deficit in half in the fifth inning after Matt DeRosa RBI groundout and a Christian Smith RBI single put Quinnipiac behind 4-2.

Trailing 6-2 entering the ninth, Quinnipiac was able to cut the deficit back to two runs after Swenson roped a two-run double to left to bring the score to 6-4. However, it wasn't enough as Fordham hung on for the 6-4 victory.
