
#4 Bobcats Wrap Up Regular Season at #3 Gannon

Bobcats Travel to Erie for Final Meet Before Nationals
ERIE, Pa. – The Quinnipiac University Acrobatics & Tumbling team vaulted into No. 4 in the final set of NCATA National Rankings that were released last Wednesday afternoon by the association. The Bobcats follow up last week's victory over Oregon with a return to action this Saturday with a dual meet against No. 3-ranked Gannon. The two teams met very early in the season, back on Feb. 5, as the Knights picked up the victory 266.955-262.235.
Quinnipiac comes into the meet with a 5-2 record, with its only other loss of the season to Baylor University back on March 19 (280.685-284.460.) Saturday marks the final regular season meet for both teams before the 2022 NCATA National Championships begin on April 28 at the University of Oregon.
The Golden Knights were last in action last Saturday against first-year program Kutztown University and picked up the victory after scoring a total of 272.940, the program's second-highest mark of the season.
The final NCATA National Rankings of 2022 are topped by six-time defending champion Baylor, who is unbeaten on the season at 7-0. The Bears defeated No. 8 Hawaii Pacific last week and have a showdown with No. 5 Oregon on Sunday, April 10.
No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific has completed the regular season portion of its schedule, while the bottom half of the top 10 is rounded out by unbeaten No. 6 Limestone University, Fairmont State at No. 7, Hawaii Pacific at No. 8, King University at No. 9, and Converse University at No. 10.
The final 2022 National Championship seedings, pairings, and at-large qualifiers for individual event finals will be released on Monday, April 11.
