
Quinnipiac Clinches NCATA Title Berth; First Appearance in Final Since 2018

AZUSA, Calif. — For the first time since 2018, the Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling program will compete for the NCATA Championship, as the third-seeded Bobcats knocked off second-seeded Oregon on Friday night at the Felix Events Center.
The Bobcats erased a 2.125-point deficit after the Acro event, chipping away before blowing away the Ducks in the team routine to win by 4.9.
Quinnipiac will play in its third title meet and first since the 2018 campaign.

HIGHLIGHTS
Quinnipiac jumped out to an early lead, defeating Oregon in the compulsory event by 0.3.
After Oregon, jumped up by 2.1, Quinnipiac posted a 9.90 in the open pyramid to close out the first half strong.
The 450 Salto Toss bested any toss in the event by 0.275, continuing the Bobcats' momentum into the second half.
Kat Carter again stuck the six-element pass, scoring a 9.90 to beat any other tumbling heat.
