Team Comes Up Short in Regular Season Finale

ERIE, Pa. – The fourth-ranked Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling team dropped its regular season finale to third-ranked Gannon on Saturday as the two teams wrapped up the 2022 NCATA campaign with just over two weeks until the National Championship tournament.

NOTES

The Bobcats took an early lead after the Compulsory event, posting two 9.85s in the pyramid and toss heats.
Quinnipiac increased its lead in the Acro event thanks to a 9.85 in heat 1 and 9.80 in heat 2.
The teams nearly tied in the Pyramid event, as Quinnipiac narrowly edged the Knights, 29.40-29.30.
The meet started to turn when Gannon took the Toss event by 0.75 points and then handled the Tumbling event by a 4.225-point margin.
A win in the team event by nearly five points gave Gannon the overall victory.
