Coach Powers Adds Kacie Kier to Coaching Staff

Quinnipiac University acrobatics & tumbling Head Coach Mary Ann Powers has announced the addition of Kacie Kier to her coaching staff as an Assistant Coach prior to the 2026-27 season.
A former Limestone University standout, Kier earned NCATA All-American honors in 2024 and 2025 and was named the NCATA Division II Most Outstanding Athlete of the Year following her senior season. In 2025, she captured the NCATA Aerial Tumbling individual event title and was named Limestone University's Female Athlete of the Year. Kier was a three-time Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Year, while helping lead Limestone to multiple conference championships.
Kier brings additional coaching experience at both the collegiate and All-Star levels. Prior to joining Quinnipiac, she served as an assistant Acrobatics & Tumbling coach at Francis Marion University during the 2025-26 season, assisting with training, practice operations, meet preparation, athlete development and team travel. She also served as an All-Star Director and Tumbling Coach with Athletic Cheer Force in Florence, South Carolina, where she provided individualized tumbling instruction with an emphasis on technique, safety and skill progression.
A native of Elgin, South Carolina, Kier earned a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communications from Limestone University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Coaching Education with a concentration in Athletic Coaching at the University of South Carolina.
