HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac softball team defeated the Bryant Bulldogs, 3-2, in a come-from-behind win. First-year Sydney Horan picked up the win in the circle and notched her first career hit and RBI to lead the Bobcats in the win. Brooke Hilliard also tallied two RBIs in the win, and Karolyn Walker recorded the game-winning run.
Quinnipiac has won three of its last five games and stands at 8-20 on the season. Bryant also moves to 8-20 overall.
Game Recap:
Fifth Inning - Bryant held a 2-0 lead until the fifth inning. Gianna Palmisano and Karolyn Walker were both walked to add runners on first and second base. Sydney Horan tallied her first career hit with an RBI-single up the middle, and Palmisano scored. Brooke Hilliard then stepped up and hit a single, allowing Horan and Walker to score and tallied two RBIs.
Horan threw two strikeouts in the top of the seventh to help seal the victory for Quinnipiac, 3-2.

Quinnipiac will host the Rider Broncs to continue MAAC play on Saturday, April 16.
