Siena Finishes MAAC Battle with Strong Second Half
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team dropped its MAAC matchup with the Siena Saints on Wednesday afternoon, 13-12. Junior Desiree Kleberg scored three goals for the Bobcats, pushing her season total to 27. Junior goalkeeper Kat Henselder made 12 saves for the Bobcats in the defeat.
Senior attack Sydney Skalstad and junior midfield Emily Feeney recorded two goals each. In total, eight Bobcats recorded goals in the loss to Siena.

GAME SUMMARY
- Sydney Skalstad opened the scoring for the Bobcats with 10:44 left in the first quarter to give Quinnipiac an early 1-0 lead.
- Emily Feeney followed up with a goal of her own to push the lead to two 2:25 after Skalstad's goal.
- 24 seconds later, Desiree Kleberg scored her first goal of the game to give the Bobcats a three goal lead with just over eight minutes to go in the opening quarter.
- With 6:12 left on the clock in the first quarter, Sydney Skalstad scored her second goal of the game and the Bobcats were running with a 4-0 lead.
- The Siena Saints came back with three goals to cut the Bobcat lead to one.
- Desiree Kleberg answered back with her second goal of the quarter to extend the lead back to two, 5-3.
