George, Donnery Capture MAAC Weekly Awards

George Wins 2nd FO POTW Award, Donnery Named League Offensive POTW
EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse has won a pair of MAAC weekly awards following the Bobcats' road win at Canisius, as announced by the league office on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Sophomore Dylan Donnery has been named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, while senior Demitri George has been tabbed Face-Off Player of the Week.

Donnery – the reigning MAAC Rookie of the Year – tallied seven total points in the victory at Canisius on April 9th. He recorded three goals and four assist for the Bobcats. Donnery recorded four points during the second half of action, helping lead QU to an 8-2 advantage over the final 30 minutes.
George earns his second Face-Off Player of the Week honor so far this season. The reigning MAAC Face-Off Player of the Year went 20-of-29 from the x in the win at Canisius, winning all 12 faceoff chances in the second half of play. George has 468 career faceoffs wins, needing just 32 more wins to reach 500 for his career.
The Bobcats return to play on Saturday, April 16, traveling to nationally-ranked Virginia for an 8:00 PM contest on the ACC Network.
