Henselder Stops 16 in Loss
Hamden, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference matchup with the San Diego State Aztecs, 13-7, on Wednesday afternoon. Senior Sydney Skalstad led the way with two goals on five shots. Junior goalkeeper Kat Henselder made 16 saves for the Bobcats in the loss.
Sophomore midfielder Kalie Moore tallied her first goal of the year. In total, six Bobcats found the back of the net in the loss to the Aztecs.

- Gabby Beckett opened the scoring for the Bobcats tallying a goal just 3:04 into the game.
- The Aztecs roared back with four goals of their own to take the game over with a 4-1 lead.
- Sydney Skalstad put an end to the Aztec attack and scored to make it a 4-2 game with 1:50 to go in the first quarter.
- San Diego State entered the second quarter with a two goal lead, 4-2.
- Ellagrace Delmond brought in the second quarter with her lone goal of the game with three minutes into the quarter.
