NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Bobcats played a single game against the Lipscomb Bison on Wednesday, March 16 and lost, 6-0. First-year Sydney Horan pitched six innings, tallying six strikeouts against the Bobcats.

Quinnipiac moves to 2-8 on the season, and Lipscomb stands at 9-15 after defeating the Bobcats.

Highlights vs Lipscomb:
Maci Cunconan hit a homerun to give the Bison a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The Bobcats held the Bison off until the fifth inning. Lipscomb's Tori Womack hit the team's second home run of the game to take a 2-0 lead. The Bison would then tally four more runs in the sixth inning and hold on to win, 6-0.

Notable Stats:

First-year Brooke Hilliard went 1-3 against Lipscomb's Makayla Veneziale.
Sophomore Karolyn Walker went 1-2.
Taylor Walton and Hannah Davis were both walked once each.
First-year Sydney Horan (2-2) pitched six innings, tallying six strikeouts against the Bison and allowing five earned runs.
Veneziale tallied 10 strikeouts through seven innings.
The Bison tallied six hits with zero errors, while the Bobcats had two hits with zero errors, as well.
