Softball vs Fairfield Moved Up, Bobcats Take on Stags Tuesday

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac softball team will host the Fairfield Stags for the 2021 regular season finale on Tuesday, May 4. This series was moved up one day from the originally-scheduled Wednesday, May 5 game due to weather. First pitch is set for 1 p.m., in Hamden.
The Bobcats are coming off a 1-3 weekend against the Siena Saints and are 8-26 overall. Fairfield was most recently swept by Monmouth this past weekend and is 18-12 on the season.

Quinnipiac hosted Siena for a four-game series this past weekend and earned one win in the final game on Sunday. The Saints took both game on Saturday by scores of 10-4 and 5-3. First-year Gianna Palmisano went 7-12 (.582) with three runs, two doubles and four RBIs through four games. First-year Kayla Thomas went 6-13 (.461) with two runs scored, two doubles and four RBIs.
