Outdoor Track & Field Takes Fourth at UMass

RESULTS
AMHERST, Mass. - The Quinnipiac track & field team took fourth at UMass on Friday, April 9. The Bobcats tallied 94 points in fourth, and UMass took first with 247.5 points. Boston College finished in second with 190 points, and Boston University took third with 119.5 points.
Three different Bobcats recorded first-place finishes - first-year Alyssa Romagnoli, junior Kalli'ana Botelho and senior Mikah Maples.
Individual Results - Track

Three different Bobcats recorded first-place finishes - first-year Alyssa Romagnoli, junior Kalli'ana Botelho and senior Mikah Maples.
Individual Results - Track
- In the 400m, first-year Alyssa Romagnoli finished in first place (58.32). Senior Melissa Solomon was right behind Romagnoli in second place (59.34). Junior Aisha Gay finished in seventh (1:01.50), and sophomore Eileen Donovan tallied a ninth-place finish (1:02.01).
- Sophomore Hayden Robinson finished in sixth place (26.34) in the 200m. Junior Symone Foster tallied a time of 27.07 in seventh and first-year Camille Blain took eighth with a time of 27.29 in the same event.
- Junior Emily Young took fourth in the 800m (2:17.84). First-year Jada Dennis was right behind her in fifth place (2:19.13). Junior Mia Pestle tallied a time of 2:19.77 in seventh.
- In the 1500m, junior Shannon Goria recorded a time of 4:46.76 in eighth place. Senior Brooke Hagen finished in ninth (4:47.40).
- First-year Liv DiStefano finished in sixth place (18:01.89) in the 5000m run.
- Foster took third in the 100m hurdles (14.88). Sophomore Camille Sweet finished in 10th (16.30).
- Senior Amanda Carlson tallied a time of 11:59.19 in seventh place in the steeplechase.
- The 4x100m relay team of Foster, Robinson, Gay and Romagnoli took third with a time of 49.10.
- The 4x400m relay team of Solomon, Donovan, Romagnoli and senior Caitlyn Halloran finished in second (3:59.77).
- Junior Kalli'ana Botelho tied for first place with a 1.66m mark in the high jump, which is a season best and new leading mark for the MAAC.
- Sweet recorded a 5.23m mark in the long jump, taking fourth. Senior Britney Del Mundo took seventh with a 5.20m mark.
- Del Mundo also took second in the triple jump with an 11.63m mark. This is a season-best jump for Del Mundo and she now leads the MAAC with this mark.
- Senior Mikah Maples tallied a first place finish in the discus throw (42.17m) and finished in fourth in the shot put (12.34m). Her discus throw is now ranked second in the MAAC.
- The Bobcats will compete at the Southern Connecticut State James Barber Tri-Meet on Sunday, April 11.
