10 Players Record a Point and Eight Players Score a Goal In the Win
HAMDEN, Conn. – For the first time since April 21, 2013 the Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team scored 20 goals in a game in its 20-14 win over Manhattan on Friday afternoon. 10 different Bobcats recorded a point and eight Bobcats scored a goal in the win.
Graduate student attack Megan Szawlowski recorded her second consecutive game of seven points, matching her career high. The Holyoke, Mass. native scored four goals and dished out three assists for the Bobcats.
Junior midfielder Sophie Spencer tallied a career-high four points in the win. She matched her career high in goals with three and dished out an assist. Maddie Noel and Maddie Deegan both recorded four points as well. Noel matched her career high in both goals (3) and points (4).
Senior defender Annie Hage picked up a career-high three ground balls for the Bobcats and also caused one turnover. Nine other Bobcats picked up a ground ball in a team-wide defensive effort for Quinnipiac.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kat Henselder continued her breakout season for Quinnipiac as she stopped 12 shots for the Bobcats. Sophia Iaccino picked up seven draw controls and scored three goals in the Bobcat win.

GAME SUMMARY
- Quinnipiac scored the first five goals of the game. Szawlowski and Deegan scored two goals each and Noel added one in the Bobcats run.
- The next two goals were scored by Manhattan, but Iaccino scored from the free position to end the Jaspers run.
- Manhattan went another run to cut the Bobcats lead to 6-5.
- Emily Feeney and Noel found the back of the net to push the Quinnipiac lead to 8-5.
- Two of the last three goals of the first half were scored by the Bobcats as the took a 10-6 lead into halftime.
- Spencer scored the first goal of the final half. The Jaspers then scored three of the next four goals to cut the Quinnipiac lead to 12-9.
- The teams then traded 3-0 runs as the Bobcats continued to lead 15-12.
- Quinnipiac outscored Manhattan, 5-2, over the closing stages of the second half to secure the win, 20-14.
- The Bobcats eclipsed 20 goals for the first time since the 2013 season, where they did it twice.
- Megan Szawlowski's seven points pushed her 108 career points. She has scored 76 goals and 32 assists in her Quinnipiac career.

- Maddie Deegan's four goals gave her a new career high in goals for a season with 20, topping her previous high of 17 in her first year in Hamden. This is the second game this season that she found the back of the net four times.
- Emily Feeney's three points raised her season total to 21. The Downingtown, Pa. native has 12 goals and nine assists on the season.
- Sophia Iaccino's three goals is the fourth time this season that she scored three or more this season. Her three points pushed her season total to 22, as she has scored 18 goals and dished out four assists this season.
- Gabby Beckett now has a new career high in points in a season with 19. Her previous high was 17, which she recorded in her rookie campaign at Quinnipiac.
- Shannon Savage and Katie Bonanno scored their first goals of the season. This is Bonanno's first career goal and Savage's 12th goal of her career.
- Kat Henselder recorded a double-digit save total for the eighth consecutive game. She is third in the country in saves per game with 11.88 per contest.
- The Bobcats continue their weekend series with Manhattan, hosting the Jaspers on Sunday, April 11. Quinnipiac will be hosting senior day prior to the start of the game at noon.
