HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis played to a 4-3 victory over Fordham on Saturday afternoon at the Outdoor Tennis Courts in non-conference action.

With the win, the Bobcats are now 4-1-1. Quinnipiac hasn't lost since March 10, going undefeated over its last four matches.

NOTES

Alester Magalit/Bryan Schick kicked off the day by earning a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles. They're now 3-0 as a duo in doubles play this spring.
Patrick Cachapero/Shaurya Sood then won 6-3 at the No. 2 doubles position, clinching the point for the Bobcats.
Aleksa Martinovic won Quinnipiac's first singles matchup, defeating Makatsaria 7-5, 6-1 from the No. 3 spot. Martinovic has three victories in singles matches, as today marks his first win from the No. 3 position.
Alester Magalit won in straight sets (6-4, 6-3) in the No. 1 singles spot. He's got a team-best four singles wins so far in spring 2021.
Shaurya Sood won the match clincher at No. 5 singles, battling to a 6-2, 7-6 victory. The win is his second singles victory of the year, and first from the No. 5 spot.
