HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's tennis team seeks their third straight MAAC title as they open championship play against No. 2 Rider in the semifinals.
The Bobcats finished the regular season 8-11 overall and 5-3 in MAAC play, earning the No. 3 seed in the tournament.
Quinnipiac captured its first two MAAC titles during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, defeating Rider 4-1 and Fairfield 4-2 in the championship matches to secure trips to the NCAA Tournament.

ALL-MAAC CATS
- Carlos Braun Simo was named to the All-MAAC Singles First Team, posting a 7-1 record at No. 1 singles and winning the MAAC Player of the Week award three times this season.
- The junior picked up his third All-MAAC singles honor in as many years, and second First Team selection.
- Braun Simo also picked up Second Team Doubles with first-year partner Alessandro Sciacca, going 5-3 at No. 1 doubles.
- Elias Hoxha earned his second All-MAAC singles honor after picking up five conference wins. Hoxha clinched a 4-3 victory over Fairfield to keep the Bobcats' postseason alive. The sophomore holds a 13-3 record in MAAC singles play.
- Csanad Nyaradi and Vishal Prakash picked up their first doubles honors at No. 3 doubles, recording six straight wins in the MAAC after the first two were unfinished.
- Seven Bobcats were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
- The Bobcats picked up back-to-back home wins against Fairfield and Niagara.
- Carlos Braun Simo / Alessandro Sciacca earned their eighth doubles win of the season.
- Csanad Nyaradi / Vishal Prakash picked up their ninth doubles win of the season and their seventh in eight matches.
- Carlos Braun Simo improved to 11-4 in singles, winning seven of his last eight matches.
- Elias Hoxha and Alessandro Sciacca each earned their eighth singles win of the season.
- Prakash won his fifth singles match of the season.
- Nyaradi picked up his sixth singles win of the season.
- Finn Burridge earned his fourth singles win of the season.
- The teams of Carlos Braun Simo / Elias Hoxha & Finn Burridge / Alessandro Sciacca each won their respective doubles matchups to advance to the round of 64.
- Carlos Braun Simo won his main draw singles consolation match, defeating Ethan Chung (Yale): 7-5, 7-6 (9-7).
