Adzija nets two, Cooper scores first career goal
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team blanked the LIU Sharks on Saturday afternoon, 5-0. Junior forward Lexie Adzija led the team with three points on two goals and one assist, and first-year Catie Boudiette recorded her first career start and shutout in the net.
First-year Kendall Cooper scored her first career goal for the Bobcats, and senior Renee Saltness added two assists on Adzija's goals. The Bobcats outshot the Sharks, 51-14.

- (10:31, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 5, LIU 0: Adzija scored her second of the game after recovering the puck in the neutral zone, skating past an LIU defender and sending the puck past Harmison. Saltness tallied an assist on the play in the neutral zone.
- Adzija tallied three points in the win and now has four goals and four assists on the season for eight total points. The junior forward has recorded at least one point in all but one game this season.
- Saltness tallied two assists in the win and leads the team with nine points this season.
