Bobcats Place 10 Student-Athletes on MAAC Basketball All-Academic Teams

ATLANTIC CITY – Quinnipiac men's and women's basketball combined to place 10 student-athletes on the 2019-20 MAAC All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference on March 11 at the MAAC Basketball Championship in Atlantic City.

Chiara Bacchini, Mackenzie DeWees, Shaq Edwards, Taylor Herd, Vanessa Udoji, Jaden Ward, Paige Warfel all earned a spot on the women's all-academic squad. Rich Kelly, Brendan Martin and Jacob Rigoni were the men's all-academic honorees.

Quinnipiac men's and women's basketball have now combined to place 40 student-athletes on the all-academic team over the last three seasons. The two programs combined for 15 all-academic honorees in 2018-19, and 15 in 2017-18.

The Bobcats will both begin 2020 MAAC Tournament play on Thursday, March 12. Quinnipiac women's basketball faces Manhattan in the quarterfinal round at 2:30 p.m., while men's basketball will square off with Monmouth at 9:30 p.m. from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall
