Metro Conference Releases Men's Basketball League Schedule

EDISON, NJ – The Metro Conference has revealed the 2026-27 men's basketball league docket, as announced on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The Bobcats' 20-game conference schedule features one contest at home in December, six games at M&T Bank Arena in the month of January and three home matchups in February.
Quinnipiac's Metro opener will take place on Dec. 4 at Iona, followed by the Bobcats' first home contest of the league schedule on Dec. 6 against reigning conference champion Siena.
QU then returns to the league schedule at the end of the calendar year, traveling to Rider on Dec. 29. The Bobcats return home for a battle against Saint Peter's on New Year's Day, followed by a pair of road contests at Merrimack on Jan. 3, and at Manhattan on Jan. 8.
Next up is a stretch where Quinnipiac plays four of five games at home. The Bobcats play host to Marist on Jan. 10, then the Bobcats host Niagara on Jan. 16 before traveling to Sacred Heart on Jan. 18. QU returns to M&T Bank Arena the following weekend to play host to Iona on Jan. 22 and Fairfield on Jan. 24.
Quinnipiac wraps up the month of January traveling to Siena on the 29th, then playing host to Rider on the 31st.
Tom Pecora and the Bobcats begin February in Western New York, traveling to Canisius on Feb. 5 and to Niagara on Feb. 7.
The Bobcats are back in Hamden for a home contest vs. Manhattan on Feb. 11, followed by a short road trip to Fairfield on Feb. 13.
Quinnipiac is back home on Sunday, Feb. 21 to host Mount St. Mary's. The final weekend of the regular season concludes with a road trip to Saint Peter's on Feb. 26, then a home matchup with Merrimack on Feb. 28.
Tom Pecora will enter his fourth season as Head Coach at Quinnipiac in 2026-27. Pecora – a veteran with 17 years of experience as a head coach at the Division I level – has guided the Bobcats to a 63-36 overall record during his first three years at the helm of the program. He captured back-to-back MAAC Coach of the Year awards after leading Quinnipiac to two consecutive regular season championships in 2023-24 and 2024-25. Most recently, QU posted a 19-13 record during the 2025-26 campaign en route to a bye in the first round of the postseason tournament for the third straight year.
Individual game tickets can be purchased through GoBobcats.com starting at 10:00 AM EST on September 14. With games expected to sell out quickly, fans are encouraged to act fast to secure their spots.
