Baseball's MAAC Tournament Opener Pushed to Friday

Entire MAAC Tournament Postponed by One Day, Bobcats and Stags to Play at 11 A.M.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Quinnipiac baseball team's MAAC Tournament opener scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. has been postponed by one day due to unplayable field conditions and impending storms, as announced Thursday afternoon.
All Thursday games were postponed and the tournament will resume on Friday with the Bobcats and Stags meeting at 11 a.m. at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark. The Tournament will now be played on Friday, Saturday and the championship game has been moved to Sunday.
Quinnipiac clinched the No. 2 seed in the tournament after tying Canisius for the MAAC regular season championship with a 17-7 record in league play.
