Softball to Face Yale in Midweek Doubleheader

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac softball team will travel a few miles south to face Yale in a midweek doubleheader. The Bobcats are coming off a 4-0 weekend after opening MAAC play against Manhattan and Saint Peter's. The first pitch is set for 3 p.m., at the 5K Corral Field at William O. DeWitt '63 Family Stadium in New Haven, Conn.

Last Time Out
The Bobcats played a rescheduled doubleheader against Saint Peter's on Monday, April 1 in Hamden. Quinnipiac won both games, including a 5-4 walk-off victory in the tenth inning. Junior Megan Dyson was up to bat in the bottom of the tenth with the bases loaded; she was hit Quinnipiac's first match games came against the Manhattan Jaspers on Saturday, March 30, and the Bobcats won, 2-0 and 8-5.

Yale is coming off a three-game sweep over Cornell this past weekend, winning two games in five innings. Sydney Grobman leads the Bulldogs with a .397 average with 31 hits, 13 runs, five doubles, one triple, four homeruns, and 21 RBIs.
