Fourth Quarter Outburst Powers Men's Lacrosse Past Siena on the Road

Bobcats Outscore Saints 7-1 in Final Period to Earn Comeback Win
LOUDONVILLE, NY – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse outscored Siena 7-1 in the fourth quarter, storming back to earn a 13-10 win on the road on Saturday afternoon at Hickrey Field. With the victory, the Bobcats have now won six-straight contests to move to 6-3 (3-0 MAAC) so far this season.
Quinnipiac rattled of seven of the game's last eight goals in the fourth quarter. Foster Cuomo led the comeback with three goals of his own in the final 15 minutes of play. The Preseason MAAC Player of the Year finished with a game-high seven points.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Foster Cuomo scored a team-high five goals to go along with two helpers for seven points, including three scores during Quinnipiac's fourth-quarter comeback. Cuomo now has 18 goals and six assists so far in 2019.
- Jake Tomsik added three goals and three helpers of his own, stretching his season point total to 39.
- Mike Fletcher and Will Abbott each added two goals and one assist. Tyler Mackay, Tyler DeVito and Kevin Blank all scored one in the win, as well.
- Tyler Liotta won 17 of 25 battles in the face-off x, as he now has a 60.2% face-off winning percentage this year.
- Nick DiMuccio added 13 more saves in the win, as the freshman has now recorded 10+ stops in eight of nine contests.
- Quinnipiac outshot Siena 48-45. The program has tallied 40+ shots in four straight games.
- The Bobcats won 18 of 27 total faceoffs, including a seven wins on nine attempts in the final quarter of action.
- Quinnipiac went 11-of-15 in clear attempts, picking up 33 total ground balls.
- The Bobcats have now won six straight games for the first time since the 2016 season. During the winning streak - which began on March 2 - Quinnipiac has outscored opponents 77-62.
- Quinnipiac is back in action on Saturday, April 6, traveling to Buffalo to square off with Canisius.
