California, Berkeley Alum Enters New Role with Bobcats
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's lacrosse head coach Tanya Kotowicz announced the hiring of Caroline Corzel as an assistant coach, beginning immediately.
"We are excited to welcome Caroline to Bobcat Nation," said Kotowicz. "I was impressed with Caroline's passion for the game of lacrosse and coaching. She shares our program values when it comes to being an educator through athletics. Our staff will benefit from her knowledge, perspective, and work ethic as we work together to build sustainable success."
Corzel, a 2019 graduate of University of California, Berkley, played for four seasons, including being named team captain in her senior campaign. The Berwyn, Pennsylvania native finished her career ranked sixth in program history in shots per game with 4.84. Her 127 shots in her senior year is a single-season program record.
"I am so excited to become a part of the Quinnipiac Lacrosse team," said Corzel. "What initially drew my interest in QU was the emphasis on community and the importance of building the team not only on the field, but off the field as well. The competitive nature of this coaching staff aligns with the goals of the program and institution. Go Bobcats!"
