Schedule Features 56 Games, Including 18 at Home, and Face Three 2018 NCAA Teams

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac baseball head coach John Delaney has announced the 2019 baseball schedule, a challenging slate 56-game schedule that features 18 home games and some of the best competition from the Northeast.
The Bobcats open the season with 18 straight games on the road before the MAAC and home opener against Saint Peter's on March 23.
Quinnipiac opens the season on Feb. 15 with a three-game series against UNC Greensboro before the Bobcats return to North Carolina the following weekend for a single game against Elon and two games against Wake Forest with all three games played in Winston-Salem.
The Bobcats travel to Norfolk State to begin the month of March followed by the eight-game spring break trip. Quinnipiac opens spring break with a three-game weekend series at Florida Gulf Coast before heading across the state to face the defending Conference USA Champion Florida Atlantic in a two-game mid-week series. The Bobcats wrap up the trip with the Spider Invitational in Richmond, Virginia, with single games against Toledo, Bryant and Richmond.
Quinnipiac returns to the state of Connecticut for a non-conference game against the Yale Bulldogs in New Haven before the MAAC and Home Opener against Saint Peter's March 23-24 to kick off a five-game homestand. The Bobcats host Rhode Island and Dartmouth for mid-week games following the Saint Peter's series.
The Bobcats close out March with a trip to Niagara Falls, New York, to face the Purple Eagles with a non-conference game against Central Connecticut State on April 2 sandwiched between another MAAC weekend with Canisius coming to Hamden.
Following the Canisius weekend, the Bobcats play seven straight out-of-conference games beginning with mid-week battles at Hartford and Boston College before a weekend trip to Philadelphia to face La Salle in a three-game series. The Bobcats return home to face Yale and Bryant before returning to MAAC play at Siena on April 19-20.
The Bobcats host Hartford on April 23 before traveling to UMass the following day with a home MAAC weekend against Rider before two more mid-week games at Bryant and home vs. Central Connecticut State.
Quinnipiac closes out the season with three straight MAAC weekends at Iona and Fairfield before returning home to host Manhattan for the final weekend of the regular season.
The 2019 MAAC Tournament is slated for May 22nd-25th, 2019 at Richmond County Bank Ballpark on Staten Island in New York City with the top six teams in the MAAC qualifying for the tournament.
