SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
- Eamon Whelan has scored both of Quinnipiac's goals on the season while Jeppe Haehre and midfielder Paulo Soares have dished out assists on those scores. Goalkeeper Chrysostomos Iakovidis (0-1-1) sports a 1.29 goals against average and .824 save percentage with three goals allowed vs. 14 saves in all 210:00.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
- Captained by senior defender Eddie McCusker, redshirt junior midfielder Lou Vilotti, and redshirt junior defender Mike Fornaro, Saint Joseph's returns 17 Hawks, including eight starters from a season ago, and will sport a roster of six seniors, seven juniors, six sophomores, and 12 first-year players this fall.
- The Hawks opened the season with a 2-0 road loss at William and Mary last Friday but bounced back with a 3-1 road win over Saint Peter's on Tuesday evening; junior forward Leon Maric (24'), freshman midfielder Garrett Lyons (50'), and freshman forward Frantz Pierrot (72') scored for the Crimson and Gray while freshman goalkeeper Joseph Boehm earned his first collegiate victory in net.
- The Hawks and Bobcats met early last season, wth Quinnipiac earning a 1-0 victory in the first ever men's soccer game at the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium. Matthew Taylor scored the lone goal and Chrysostomos Iakovidis posted a one-save clean sheet.
