HAMDEN, Conn. — Redshirt senior Keilani Finley led the way for Quinnipiac, driving in seven runs in two games as the Bobcats swept the Niagara Purple Eagles, 5-1 and 9-0, at the QU Softball Field on Sunday afternoon.

GAME ONE (QU 5, Niagara 1)

Casey Herzog got the start and earned her MAAC-leading 12th win of the season.
Herzog pitched a complete game, gave up one run and struck out six.
Miranda Magana and Keilani Finley led the offense with two RBI apiece, with Finley's coming on a two-run homer.
Brighid Douglas drove in a run and Keala Cordeiro went 2-for-3.
The game remained scoreless until Finley drilled a two-run homer in the fourth inning to give Quinnipiac a 2-0 lead.
The Bobcats doubled their lead in the fifth after Magana doubled, scoring Erin Larsen and Herzog to extend the lead to 4-0.
After Finley drew a walk to start the bottom of the sixth, two batters later Douglas lined an RBI double to the outfield wall to give the Bobcats a 5-0 lead.
The Purple Eagles scored a run on a solo homer in the seventh inning, but they were unable to plate anyone else the rest of game one.

GAME TWO (QU 9, Niagara 0)

Kendall Brundrett got the start and earned her fourth win of the season.
Brundrett pitched a complete-game shutout, giving up one hit and striking out one.
Keilani Finley went 3-for-3 in game two, with five RBI, including her second two-run homer of the day.
Keala Cordeiro also went 3-for-3 in the win.
Lexi Courtney drove in two runs and Rebecca Drake drove in a run.
Quinnipiac got off to a quick start, scoring five runs in the first inning.
Erin Larsen off led the bottom of the first with a solo homer.
Four batters later, Finley stepped to the plate with runners on second and third and drilled a two-run triple to give Quinnipiac a 3-0 lead.
Courtney immediately followed with an RBI double to score Finley.
Three batters later, Drake singled home Courtney to give Quinnipiac a 5-0 lead.
The Bobcats struck again next inning after Douglas reached on a one-out single, followed by another Finley triple to give Quinnipiac a 7-0 lead.
In the bottom of the fourth, Finley rocketed a two-run homer over the fence to secure the 9-0 win.
