HAMDEN, Connecticut - Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling earned its second victory of the season when it defeated King University, 284.010-254.635 on Saturday, Mar. 3, at the TD Bank Sportscenter. The Bobcats are now 2-1 in 2018 after the victory and the Tornado fall to 0-3 with the loss.

Compulsory
The Bobcats started strong, winning three of the four heats in the Compulsory Event to give Quinnipiac the 38.20-36.80 lead after the opening event. Quinnipiac's Compulsory Event included a 9.90 in the Toss Heat competed by Alyssa O'Connor, Samantha Gormley, Jenna Adams, Allie Williams and Erin Redding.
Acro
The Bobcats continued their strong start when they won the Acro Event, 29.05-25.90. The Bobcats picked up a pair of heat victories, winning both the six element and seven element heats with a score of 9.80.
Pyramid
The Bobcats kept rolling in the Pyramid Event, winning 29.40-27.90. This was highlighted by a 9.90 in the first heat competed by Karen Deflippo, Kaitlyn Kelly, Camren Diaz, Nicole Chamberlin, Jenna Adams, Erin Redding, Brinkley Welty, and Grace Manthey.
Toss
The Bobcats did not allow halftime to stop their momentum as they went into the Toss Event, the first sweep of the day for Quinnipiac. The Bobcats won 29.30-26.15, including a 9.80 performed by Melanie Mancini, Jenna Adams, Camren Diaz, Allie Williams, Brinkley Welty, and Erin Redding in the third heat
Tumbling
The Bobcats took home five heat victories as they won the Tumbling Event, 56.850-51.375. The Bobcats' highest score in the Tumbling Event came in the 6-Element Pass Heat, where Quinnipiac scored a 9.85 thanks to Osher.
Team
Quinnipiac dominated the Team Event, scoring a 101.21-86.51 victory over King.
