
Carter, Coker Highlight Bobcats NCATA Quarterfinal Win vs. Iona

AZUSA, Calif. — 9.90 in the six-element pass sent Bobcat Nation into a frenzy, as Katherine Carter put her Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling program in control against Iona in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 NCATA National Championship, positioning the squad to eventually move into the semifinals on Friday night.
After a tight first three events, the Bobcats pulled away in tosses, led by Kathryn Coker, and the tumbling rounds highlighted by Carter, to earn the double-digit point victory that sent the Bobcats on to the NCATA Final Four.

HIGHLIGHTS
Acro 5 was the strong point early on, as the Bobcats posted the highest score of either team in that event from the get-go.
It was the open pyramid yet again, continuing its strong season with a 9.85 to pace all pyramid rounds.
Carter's 9.90 bested any tumbling pass by 0.15 points.
Quinnipiac then cleaned up in the team routine, outscoring their opponents by double digits.
