CLEARWATER, Fla. - Junior outfielder Erin Larsen hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and Casey Herzog threw a one-hit shutout to give the Quinnipiac softball team an 11-0 win over Buffalo in its first of two games on Saturday at the University of South Florida Michelle Smith Tournament. North Florida took the second game from the Bobcats 9-1.

Senior pitcher Casey Herzog went the distance in the opener, allowing just one hit, to get her second shutout in as many days at the Michelle Smith Tournament.
Junior outfielder Erin Larsen hit a pair of home runs in the win, including a solo shot and a grand slam to cap off the scoring.
It marked the second career two-homer game for Larsen, who also accomplished the feat at Yale last year.
Overall, Larsen was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and six RBI on the day.
Junior third baseman Rebecca Drake and senior outfielder Keilani Finley were each 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Sophomore shortstop Rachel Marchuk added a two-run triple for the Bobcats in the third inning.
Herzog improved to 6-6 on the year and lowered her ERA to 1.26 with her second shutout in a row. She also went the distance in yesterday's 2-0 win over Army.
Larsen added another RBI in the nightcap, but North Florida used a six-run fourth to enforce the eight-run rule
