HAMDEN, Connecticut – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team completes its two-game Spring Break trip when it travels to Boiling Springs, North Carolina to face Gardner-Webb on Saturday afternoon for a 12 p.m. contest.

Quinnipiac will open MAAC play with a road game at Monmouth next Saturday at 3 p.m.

THEIR LAST TIME OUT (Kennesaw State 12, Quinnipiac 5)
- Kennesaw State scored eight straight goals over a span of 13:33 in the second half to turn a 4-4 tie into a 12-4 lead.
- Quinnipiac freshman midfielder Maya Feigenbaum tied the score at 4-4 with 20:43 to play off a feed from sophomore attack Ashley Bobinski.
- Izzy Palermo broke the tie at the 19:54 mark for Kennesaw State to give the Owls the lead for good, and then capped off a seven-goal explosion over a span of 9:05 when she scored again with 10:49 to go to make the score 11-4
- Siena Gore scored her game-high fourth goal of the game at the 6:21 mark to extend the scoring run to eight straight goals.
- Bobinski finally ended the Bobcat drought with a goal with 48 seconds left, making her the fifth different goal scorer for Quinnipiac.
- Sophomore Kayla Moreau and senior attack Loren Antonacci had two straight goals to give the Bobcats a 2-1 lead with 18:45 left in the half.
- Kennesaw State tied the score, but freshman midfielder Avery Drouin was able to put the Bobcats back in front 3-2 with 4:39 on the first half clock.
- Quinnipiac had limited offensive chances, as they were held to just 13 shots on the afternoon, 12 of which were on target.
- Ashley Bobinski leads the Bobcats in goals (15), assists (9) and points (24) to date
- Emily Byrne has totaled eight goals and six assists for 14 points in the Bobcats' first six games of the season.

- The Bobcats had a three-game win streak,defeating Saint Francis (Pa.), Hartford and Sacred Heart in succession.
- Sophomore attack Ashley Bobinski had a six-goal, two-assist effort in a win over Saint Francis on Feb. 24, setting career highs in both goals and points.
- In the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, the Bobcats were chosen to finish sixth in the MAAC this season. The top six finishers qualify for the MAAC Tournament, which will be held on Apr. 28 through May 6.
- Quinnipiac had a record-setting 2017 as it clinched a berth in the MAAC Tournament for the first time in program history with an 11-10 win over Siena on Apr. 19, 2017. The Bobcats fell to Marist, 17-10, in the opening round of the MAAC Tournament.
- Senior defender Kiera Kelly was named to the 2018 Preseason All-MAAC Team, as chosen by the league's coaches.
- Kelly had the strongest season of her career to date for the Bobcats in 2017, tallying 55 ground balls and 40 caused turnovers, which ranked second all-time in Quinnipiac history, while the 55 ground balls placed fourth.
- Kelly's 2.35 caused turnovers per game led the MAAC and ranked ninth in the country while her 3.24 ground balls per game ranked second in the MAAC and placed her 17th nationally.
- Kelly became the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-ECAC First Team honors with her selection in 2017. She was also the lone representative from the MAAC and one of only seven non-seniors to earn All-ECAC honors last year.
- Ashley Bobinski and Haley Everding earned their way onto the All-MAAC Rookie Team last spring. Everding started all 17 games for Quinnipiac and logged the most minutes for the Bobcats while finishing second in caused turnovers (21) and fourth in ground balls (21). She also had the fewest turnovers on the team among players who started at least 10 games
Quinnipiac will open MAAC play with a road game at Monmouth next Saturday at 3 p.m.
