Last Meet (Quinnipiac 280.235, Alderson Broaddus 264.990)
- Quinnipiac won a season-high five events and 15 heats.
- Abby Ziser (Pompton Plain, New Jersey) was named an NCATA Acrobatics & Tumbling Athlete of the Week Honorable Mention after she obtained four victories in the nine heats she competed in.
- Camren Diaz (Oxford, Connecticut) went 9-1 in the 10 heats she competed in.
- Cassidy Osher struck for two victories as a specialist for Quinnipiac. The freshman was featured in the Tumbling Event to help the Bobcats sweep, 55.075-50.800.
- Jenna Adams (Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey), who was named the NCATA Acrobatics & Tumbling Athlete of the Week on Feb. 19, scored seven wins in the 10 heats she competed in. The senior captain has 12 wins through 21 heats so far this season.
- Erin Redding (Farmington, Connecticut) was 6-3 in nine total heats against the Battlers. She is now 12-8 in 20 heats so far in 2018.
- Melanie Mancini (Waterbury, Connecticut) scored five heat victories for Quinnipiac in the win over Alderson Broaddus.
- Siobhan Robinson (Palm Harbor, Florida) had seven victories in eight heats.
Bobcat Storylines
- Quinnipiac is 2-0 against King all time.
- The Bobcats were selected fourth in the NCATA Preseason Poll with 232 total points in the poll behind Baylor, Oregon and Azuza Pacific.
- The Bobcats are led by senior captains, Jenna Adams (Egg Habor Township, New Jersey), Samantha Gormley (Howell, New Jersey), Alyssa O'Connor (Smithtown, New York) and Abby Ziser (Pompton Plains, New Jersey).
- Quinnipiac will look to return to the NCATA Semifinals for the third-straight year and the fifth time in program history this year.
- The NCATA National Championships will be held in Erie, Pennsylvania at Gannon University April 27-29.
- Quinnipiac is coming off a six-win 2017 season, where the Bobcats fell to eventual NCATA National Champion Baylor, 279.325-273.945, in the NCATA Semifinals.
- The Bobcats advanced to the NCATA Semifinals after a thrilling win against Alderson Broaddus that saw the Bobcats shake off a halftime deficit to win eight of the last nine heats and the Team event. Quinnipiac defeated Alderson Broaddus, 270.645-264.755
- Quinnipiac won two NCATA Individual National Championships last year.
- Head coach Mary Ann Powers was named the ECAC Acrobatics & Tumbling League Co-Coach of the Year in 2017.
- Melanie Mancini (Waterbury, Connecticut) was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year
- Alyssa O'Connor (Smithtown, New York), Kelsey Rule (Kendall Park, New Jersey), Allee Tallman (Farmington, New York), Jenna Adams (Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey) and Noelle Brasier (Simi Valley, California) were named to the all-conference team.
