LAST WEEKEND IN NEW YORK
- The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team traveled to New York last weekend to take on RPI and Union and swept the weekend.
- On Friday night, the Bobcats shutout the Engineers, 2-0. It was the third shutout of the season for sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York), as she turned away 24 shots in the victory.
- Junior captain Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) and freshman Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario) provided the scoring in the game. Samoskevich netted the game-winner, her fifth of the year.
- Sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout (Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) tallied two assists in the game.
- Junior Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) and freshman Laura Lundblad (Ada, Michigan) also added an assist. Lancaster continues to hold the team lead in assists with 13.
- On Saturday against Union, the Bobcats rolled to a 4-2 victory.
- Sophomore Kati Tabin (Winnipeg, Manitoba) recorded three assists against the Dutchwomen, the most by any Bobcat in a single game in more than a calendar year.
- Samoskevich and Bonsteel scored again, and Samoskevich also added an assist. She now leads the team in goals (13) and points (22).
- Coutu-Godbout recorded her second straight multi-point game with a goal and an assist.
- Freshman Taylor House (Joliet, Illinois) netted her fourth goal of the year.
- Senior Shannon Cherpak (Enfield, Connecticut) and freshman Grace Markey (West Bloomfield, Michigan) each picked up their second assist of the season.
- St. Lawrence is the eighth ranked team in the country by the USCHO.com and USA Today Polls. They are 16-9-3 overall this season, and are 12-5-1 in ECAC action.
- The Saints are led offensively by a trio of 30-point forwards. Kennedy Marchment and Justine Reyes lead the team with 14 goals. Hannah Miller has recorded a team high 20 assists on the season. Marchment leads the team with 32 points, followed by Miller with 31, and Reyes with 30.
- St. Lawrence has used a two-goalie system this season. Grace Harrison has played in 16 games and holds a 9-5-2 record, .905 save percentage, and a 2.12 GAA. Sonjia Shelly has played 12 games and she has a 7-4-1 record, along with a .918 save percentage and a 2.00 GAA.
- The Saints have done well on the road this season, holding an 8-4-2 record away from home.
- St. Lawrence is coming off a two-win weekend. They defeated Yale 4-2 last Friday and were victorious over Brown 5-1 on Saturday. This was a bounce back weekend for the Saints, as they were swept on January 26-27 by Colgate and Cornell.
- Clarkson was voted the top team in the nation this week by the USCHO.com and USA Today Polls. They are 26-3-1 on the year, and 16-2-0 in conference play.
- The Golden Knights are led by Loren Gabel and Elizabeth Giguere. Gabel has 28 goals and 30 assists on the season. Elizabeth Giguere has 21 goals and 36 assists on the season.
- Shea Tiley is 25-3-1 between the pipes for Clarkson. She has a 1.37 GAA and a .936 save percentage, as well as eight shutouts on the season.
- Clarkson is 14-1-1 away from Cheel Arena this season.
- The Golden Knights defeated Brown, 4-0, and Yale, 2-1, last weekend. Their last loss came against Quinnipiac on November 17.
- Quinnipiac is 11-16-4 all-time against St. Lawrence.
- Head Coach Cassandra Turner is 3-2-1 all-time against the Saints.
- The last time these teams met was on November 18, 2017. The Bobcats were defeated, 4-2.
- Quinnipiac is 11-21-4 all-time against Clarkson.

- The last time these teams met was on November 17, 2017. The Bobcats defeated the Golden Knights in a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory. Melissa Samoskevich netted the game winning goal during the extra period.
- Quinnipiac is currently 5th in the ECAC standings with 22 points and have officially clinched a spot in the ECAC Tournament.
- #1/1 Clarkson and #4/4 Colgate are the top teams in the ECAC standings. The Golden Knights have 32 points and the Raiders have 30.
- #8/8 St. Lawrence sits in third with 25 points and #6/6 Cornell is right behind them with 24 points.
- The top eight teams will qualify for the ECAC Tournament, with quarterfinal play set for February 23-25.
- Quinnipiac has fared well in the friendly confines of the Frank Perrotti, Jr. Arena this season, winning nine games.

- Tabin leads all Quinnipiac defensemen with 11 assists and 13 points.
- Sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout had an excellent weekend against RPI and Union, scoring a goal and tallying three assists.
- She now has eight goals and seven assists for the year.
- Sophomore goalie Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York) continues her first full season in net in impressive fashion, crafting a 14-10-2 record and .922 save percentage.
- Her 1.75 GAA ranks third best in the ECAC, and in conference play Ives holds a 1.59 GAA, which is 2nd in the conference.
