House Nets Game-Winner, Coutu-Godbout and Bonsteel Score
SCHENECTEDY, New York – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team rolled to a 4-2 victory on Saturday afternoon over the Union Dutchwomen. Offense was the name of the game for the Bobcats, as there were four different scorers and three players with at least two points. Melissa Samoskevich netted her 13th goal of the year and took over the team lead in points. Kati Tabin tallied three assists, the first time a Bobcat has done so since exactly a year ago today. Taylor House potted the game winning goal with just over 10 minutes played in the second period.

- Junior captain Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) now leads the Bobcats with 22 points for the year, after finding the back of the net and tallying an assist.
- Sophomore Kati Tabin (Winnipieg, Manitoba) tallied her ninth, tenth, and eleventh assists of the season. She leads all Quinnipiac defensemen in assists and points (13).
- Tabin became the first Bobcat to record three points in a game since Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) did so against Cornell on January 6.
- She is the first Bobcat to pick up three assists in a game since February 3, 2017, when T.T. Cianfarano (Oswego, New York) did so against Brown.
- Sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout (Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) netted her eighth goal and picked up her seventh assist. This is her second straight game with multiple points.
- Freshman Taylor House (Joliet, Illinois) found the back of the net for the fourth time this season. The goal is her second game-winner of her career.
- Freshman Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario) scored her tenth goal of the year. She leads all Bobcat freshmen in goals and points (12).
- Freshman Grace Markey (West Bloomfield, Michigan) added an assist, her second of the season.
- Junior Claire Lachner (Commerce, Michigan) made her Bobcat debut between the pipes. She made one save in 2:20 played.
- Quinnipiac scored a pair of power play goals. They last did so on October 17, 2017 against Boston College.
- Three Bobcats (Coutu-Godbout, Samoskevich, Tabin) had multi-point games. This is the first time this has happened since they faced Cornell on January 6.
- Quinnipiac is now 13-4-1 in games in which they score first. In ECAC contests, the Bobcats are 10-1-0 whenever they score first.
- The Bobcats are 4-0-0 when they score four goals in a game.
- Head Coach Cassandra Turner remains unbeaten against Union. She is now 6-0-0 against the Dutchwomen all time.
