- The Bobcats' 15-8 win was the first ever at the brand-new Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium for the women's lacrosse program.
- Ashley Bobinski (Kinnelon, New Jersey) scored a career-high six goals for Quinnipiac. This is the third time in her young career that the sophomore has netted at least four goals for the Bobcats. With the six goals, she now has a team-leading ten goals on the season. She also had two assists to push her team-leading points total to 12.
- Just one game removed from scoring her first point as a Bobcat, Avery Drouin (Derry, New Hampshire) scored her first two career goals with both of them coming in the first half.
- Sydney Cowell (Old Lyme, Connecticut) continued the day of firsts for Quinnipiac as she scored her first-career goal for the Bobcats with 22:17 remaining in the second half.
- Maya Feigenbaum (West Hartford, Connecticut) became the third Bobcat to score her first-career goal on the afternoon when she netted a tally with 21:13 to play.
- Kayla Moreau (Pearl River, New York) scored her second and third career goals.
- Emily Byrne (Huntington, New York) continued her strong start to 2018 with a three-point game that included a goal and two assists. She now is second on the team with eight points.
- Allison Kuhn (Kingsville, Maryland) scored her third goal of 2018 after scoring two against Yale her last time out.
2018 STORYLINES
- In the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, the Bobcats were chosen to finish sixth in the MAAC this season. The top six finishers qualify for the MAAC Tournament, which will be held on Apr. 28 through May 6.
- Quinnipiac had a record-setting 2017 as it clinched a berth in the MAAC Tournament for the first time in program history with an 11-10 win over Siena on Apr. 19, 2017. The Bobcats fell to Marist, 17-10, in the opening round of the MAAC Tournament.
- Senior defender Kiera Kelly (West Islip, N.Y.) was named to the 2018 Preseason All-MAAC Team, as chosen by the league's coaches.
- Kelly had the strongest season of her career to date for the Bobcats in 2017, tallying 55 ground balls and 40 caused turnovers, which ranked second all-time in Quinnipiac history, while the 55 ground balls placed fourth.
- Kelly's 2.35 caused turnovers per game led the MAAC and ranked ninth in the country while her 3.24 ground balls per game ranked second in the MAAC and placed her 17th nationally.
- Kelly became the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-ECAC First Team honors with her selection in 2017. She was also the lone representative from the MAAC and one of only seven non-seniors to earn All-ECAC honors last year.
- Ashley Bobinski (Kinnelon, New Jersey) and Haley Everding (Fayetteville, New York) earned their way onto the All-MAAC Rookie Team last spring.
- Bobinski was ranked third on the Bobcats with 21 goals and collected 31 points for Quinnipiac while playing in all 17 games.
- Everding started all 17 games for Quinnipiac and logged the most minutes for the Bobcats while finishing second in caused turnovers (21) and fourth in ground balls (21). She also had the fewest turnovers on the team among players who started at least 10 games
