CANTON, New York – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell to St. Lawrence on Friday afternoon in Game 1 of the ECAC Women's Hockey Tournament Quarterfinals. Melissa Samoskevich scored the Bobcats lone goal in the third period.

14:54 1^st Period (SLU 2-0): Justine Reyes cleaned up a rebound from the left post following a shot by Rachael Smith in the slot. Smith received the puck from Kayla Nielsen.
6:16 3^rd Period (SLU 2-1): Melissa Samoskevich scorched a shot from the slot to the bottom right corner of the net. Kenzie Lancaster and Kenzie Prater worked the puck behind the net to find Samoskevich.
