CANTON, New York – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team was defeated by #8/8 St. Lawrence in Game 2 of the ECAC Quarterfinals, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon, eliminating the Bobcats from the ECAC Hockey Tournament.

Junior captain Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) picked up her 10^th helper of the season. She finishes the season with the team lead in points with 25.
Senior captain Alicia Barry (Hanson, Massachusetts) finished her Bobcat career with 148 games played, two behind the program record set by Taryn Baumgardt last season.
Defensemen Barry, Cherpak, and MacKenzie each played in all 36 games for Quinnipiac this season.
Sophomore defenseman Kati Tabin (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and freshmen forwards Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario), Laura Lundblad (Ada, Michigan), and Grace Markey (West Bloomfield, Michigan) also played in every game this year for the Bobcats.
Sophomore goaltender Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York) finishes the 2017-18 campaign with a 14-13-3 record in 30 games played.
