
Bobcats' Comeback Falls Just Short at UMass

AMHERST, Mass. – Quinnipiac men's basketball's comeback attempt fell just short on Wednesday night at the Mullins Center, dropping a non-conference contest vs. UMass by the final score of 69-62. The Bobcats went on a 17-5 run over 6:02 in the second half to cut the deficit to single digits.
Travis Atson led the way, scoring a season-best 16 points to go along with eight rebounds. Aaron Robinson chipped in with a season-high 15 points off the bench for the Bobcats.

- Jacob Rigoni added 10 points and four rebounds,
- Kevin Marfo grabbed eight more rebounds in 25 minutes. He's now recorded a team-best 9.2 rebounds per contest over Quinnipiac's first five games.
