SCORING SUMMARY
- (2:08, 1st period) – Quinnipiac 0, Cornell 1: Benefactors of an early power play, the Big Red worked the puck around the offensive zone before Morgan Barron received a pass from Yanni Kaldis and ripped home a shot from the point to beat Shortridge glove side.
- (6:05, 2nd period) – Quinnipiac 1, Cornell 1: Shortly after heading on a five-minute power play due to a Cornell major penalty, Brogan Rafferty (Dundee, Illinois) made a great move to just keep the puck in the right side of the offensive zone. After shifting the puck to Fortunato, Fortunato hit Rafferty with a pass back at the point where he fired home the puck.
- (7:56, 2nd period) – Quinnipiac 1, Cornell 2: Kaldis picked up the rebound off a shot from Cody Haiskanen on the left side of the offensive zone. He skated around the faceoff circle before darting through the slot to the goal where he beat Shortridge glove side.
- (4:50, 3rd period) – Quinnipiac 2, Cornell 2: Fortunato corralled a loose puck in the defensive zone and passed the puck along the boards to O'Connor fresh off the bench. O'Connor skated with speed into the offensive before wristing one top shelf past Galajda's blocker to tie the game.
- (10:18, 3rd period) – Quinnipiac 3, Cornell 2: William Fällström (Stockholm, Sweden) won a faceoff back to Priskie who took a step to his right before ripping a shot from just over the red line that banked off the end boards and Cornell goaltender Matthew Galajda's back for the go-ahead goal.
