- Eamon Whelan (New Fairfield, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal with less than two minutes left in double overtime, powering Quinnipiac men's soccer past Manhattan for its third-straight win in MAAC play on Saturday.
- Derek Parker (Cromwell, Conn.) also recorded a goal – his first of the season – for the Bobcats on Senior Day.

FIVE-STRAIGHT WINS
- The Bobcats have won five straight contests heading into Wednesday's match, including three straight wins over Canisius, Saint Peter's and Manhattan to begin MAAC action.
- Quinnipiac has outscored opponents 13-6 during the five-game winning streak.
- Siena is 2-2 so far in MAAC action, 3-6-3 overall.
- Most recently, the Saints have dropped two-straight contests at Manhattan and Siena.
- Aaron Martin has paced Siena offensively, scoring three goals to go along with two assists for eight total points.
- Quinnipiac is 5-1-2 all-time vs. Siena. The Bobcats won the meeting between the two programs last year (2-0) on Oct. 25 in Loudonville.
- Quinnipiac head coach Eric Da Costa is in his 14th season at the helm of the Bobcats' men's soccer program, becoming the longest tenured men's soccer coach in Quinnipiac's NCAA history.
- With the win on Sept. 26 at Canisius, Da Costa secured his 100th career victory as the Bobcats' head coach. He now has 102 total wins in his career at Quinnipiac.
- Eamon Whelan, Rashawn Dally and Simon Hillinger have now all recorded a point in each of the last three contests. In that span, Whelan has tallied seven points, Dally has recorded six points, and Hillinger has tallied four points.
- Eamon Whelan (New Fairfield, Conn.) has scored seven goals in Quinnipiac's first 10 contests, the most of any MAAC player so far this year. His seven goals rank tied for 26th nationally.
- The junior now has 20 goals in two-plus years with the program.
- Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, Conn.) enters Wednesday's contest having played in 69 career games, needing just one more to become one of 15 players in program history with 70+ career games played for the Bobcats.
- Jarred Mazzola (Katonah, N.Y.) has started seven-straight games in net for the Bobcats, earning a win in each of the last five contests.
- The goalkeeper has posted a 1.15 goals-against average in his first year with the program.
- Mazzola has recorded 5.57 saves per contest so far in 2018, which ranks No. 5 nationally.

- Junior Conor McCoy (Newry, Northern Ireland) was named to the 2018 Preseason All-MAAC Team, the conference announced on Aug. 14.
- The Bobcats were picked to finish fourth by the league's head coaches.
- Quinnipiac head coach Eric Da Costa named the program's leadership council for 2018, which includes senior Derek Parker (Cromwell, Conn.), senior Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland), junior Conor McCoy (Newry, Northern Ireland), sophomore Paulo Soares (Quincy, MA), and sophomore Simon Hillinger (Ditzingen, Germany).
- Quinnipiac went 8-9-2 (6-2-0 MAAC) in 2017, earning the No. 5 seed in the 2017 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship.
- The Bobcats defeated No. 4 Manhattan in the MAAC Tournament quarterfinals, then fell in penalty kicks at No. 1 Fairfield in the semifinal round.
