The Quinnipiac University acrobatics & tumbling team will face Baylor University in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling National Championship Semifinals on Friday, Apr. 28 at 8 PM EST. The Bobcats advanced to the NCATA Semifinals, for the second consecutive year and fourth time in program history, with a 270-264 win against Alderson Broaddus on Thursday, Apr. 27.

NCATA QUARTERFINALS RECAP
Quinnipiac advanced to the NCATA Semifinals after a thrilling win against Alderson Broaddus that saw the Bobcats shake off a halftime deficit to win eight of the last nine heats and the Team event.
The NCATA National Individual Event Championships are slated for Saturday, Apr. 29 at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST before the NCATA National Championship match at 7 PM PST/10 PM EST. The event finals consist of the four highest-scoring teams in each acro, pyramid, toss and tumbling heat of a sanctioned NCATA meet, with some heats featuring additional teams qualified due to a tie. The second-seeded Baylor Bears will compete in an event-leading 18 heats, followed by tournament top-seed Oregon and third-seeded Quinnipiac, who will vie for national titles in 11 heats apiece. Last season, Quinnipiac won the Six-Element Acro, with Abby Ziser, Allee Tallman and Noelle Brasier posting a 9.80, and the Synchronized Toss, with Taylor Johnson, Allee Tallman, Catherine Toma, Noelle Brasier, Jenna Capristo, Kelsey Rule, Kayla McCormack, Jordan Cavallaro, Stephanie Amaral, Alexandra Williams posting a 9.50.
