HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team will begin a home-and-home series with the Tigers of Princeton University on Friday night when they face off at the Hobey Baker Rink in Princeton, New Jersey. The Bobcats will return home to the Frank Perrotti, Jr. Arena for the first time since November 11 to finish the series on Saturday afternoon. Puck drop is set for 6 PM on Friday and 3 PM on Saturday. Quinnipiac is coming off of a road sweep of Harvard and Dartmouth. The Bobcats defeated both the Crimson and the Big Green by a score of 2-1 last weekend and are currently tied for 1st place in the ECAC.

LAST WEEKEND ON THE ROAD
· Quinnipiac came out of last weekend's road trip with a sweep, defeating ECAC opponents Harvard and Dartmouth.
· The Bobcats swept the season series with Harvard, defeating the Crimson 2-1 in both contests.
· Freshman Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario) tallied two goals against Harvard.
· Sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu Godbout (Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) recorded two straight multi-point games, with three assists and a goal on the weekend.
· Freshman Laura Lundblad (Ada, Michigan) picked up her first collegiate goal with a score against Dartmouth.
· Sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York) picked up two consecutive wins, increasing her season total to nine.
· Head coach Cassandra Turner remained undefeated against the Crimson, improving her record to 5-0-1.
· With the sweep, the Bobcats improved to 5-1-2 in their last eight games.
· It was the Bobcats first road sweep since the team defeated Union and RPI on Dec. 2-3, 2016.
· Quinnipiac improved to 8-1-1 in games that they score first.
SCOUTING PRINCETON
· The Tigers come into the weekend with a record of 3-8-3 overall and 3-6-1 in ECAC play.
· Cara Morey is in the midst of her first season as head coach of the Tigers after serving as an assistant for six years.
· Princeton is 1-4 in its last five games, with the win coming against Dartmouth.
· Sophomore Carly Bullock has the led the way for the Tigers, as she is the team leader in goals (8) and second in points (9).
· Junior Karlie Lund is the team leader in points (11) and is tied for second in goals (4) and third in points (7).
· Steph Neatby has seen the majority of time in net for the Tigers, compiling a .912 save percentage and an average of 2.54 goals allowed per game.
ALL-TIME AGAINST PRINCETON
· Quinnipiac is 14-14-4 all-time against Princeton.
· The last time that the Bobcats met the Princeton Tigers was in last year's ECAC Quarterfinals. Quinnipiac was defeated in the series.
· Cassandra Turner is 2-4-1 all-time against Princeton.
IN THE ECAC
· Quinnipiac is currently tied for 1st in the ECAC standings with #3/3 Clarkson, #4/4 Colgate, and #5/5 Cornell.
· The Bobcats have won five of their last six ECAC contest, with their only loss in that span coming against #8/8 St. Lawrence.
· Harvard is alone in fifth place with 11 points, and Rensselaer and #8/8 St. Lawrence are tied for sixth with nine points
LANCASTER LOCKED IN
· Junior Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) is the team leader in assists (10) and points (14).
· She is also third on the team in goals (4).
SCORCHING SARAH-EVE
· Sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout recorded two straight multi-point games last weekend, good for three in her last four games.
· With a goal against Dartmouth she tied Brooke Bonsteel for second on the team in goals (6).
· After tallying three assists and a goal, she moved into third on the team in points (10).
BONSTEELING THE SHOW
· Freshman Brooke Bonsteel continued her strong year with a two goal performance against Harvard.
· It was her second multi-goal game of the season, with her first coming against Vermont on Oct. 13.
· She is tied for second on the team in goals (6) with Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout.
ON THE SCORE SHEET
· Freshman Laura Lundblad tallied her first ever collegiate goal in the win over Dartmouth.
· The Michigan-native has three assists and four points on the season.
JUST SCORE FIRST
· After scoring first against Harvard and Dartmouth, the Bobcats improved to 8-1-1 this season when scoring first.
· Quinnipiac is 5-0-0 in ECAC contests in which they find the back of the net first.
HOME SWEET HOME
· The Bobcats will return home to the friendly confines of Frank Perrotti Jr. Arena for the first time since defeating Union on November 11, where they are 6-1-0 this season.
BOBCAT SPECIAL TEAMS
· Quinnipiac has done an excellent job of not finding themselves down a player, as they have the 4th fewest penalty minutes per game in the country (5.5)
· When the Bobcats are on the penalty kill, they are amongst the best in the nation. The Bobcat penalty kill sits at 90%, the 4th best in the country.
· The Bobcats are 14th in the country on the power play (18.3%).
