The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team returns to ECAC action this weekend as they travel to Massachusetts on Friday to face Harvard and then continue their trip north to New Hampshire on Saturday as they take on Dartmouth. The Bobcats are coming of their 7th Nutmeg Classic Championship, which they won by defeating UConn 2-1 in a shootout after skating to a 2-2 tie last Saturday.

LAST WEEKEND IN THE NUTMEG CLASSIC
- The Bobcats were named champions of the 14th annual Nutmeg Classic Tournament after defeating Yale University and UConn.
- Both victories were decided by a shootout, with the shootouts being won 2-1.
- Junior Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) tallied the winning shootout goal for the Bobcats in both games. She also tallied a pair of assists, one in each game, and now has 10 on the year.
- Junior captain Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) netted her ninth goal of the season against UConn, good for her eighth in her last five games.
- Along with being named the Most Outstanding Player of the Nutmeg Classic and earning a spot on the All-Tournament team, sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout (Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) tallied two goals against Yale.
- Sophomore Kati Tabin (Winnipeg, Manitoba) added her first goal of the season and earned a place on the All-Tournament team.
- Sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York) was awarded the Laurie Belliveau Goaltender Award for most outstanding goaltender of the tournament. She was also named to the All-Tournament team.
- Senior Raquel Pennoyer (Rehoboth, Massachusetts) scored her first goal of the season.
- Sophomore Abby Cleary (Buffalo, New York), junior Randi Marcon (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and sophomore Kate Mackenzie (Winnipeg, Manitoba) combined for four assists.
- Junior Anna Kilponen (Orivesi, Finland) added her fourth assist of the season.
- Sophomore Kenzie Prater (Hudson, Wisconsin) and freshman Grace Markey (West Bloomfield, Michigan) tallied shootouts goal.
- Quinnipiac has won seven of the 14 Nutmeg Classics.
- Harvard comes into the weekend with a 5-3-1 overall record, with a 3-1-1 record in ECAC play.
- The team is 2-2-1 in its last five games.
- Sophomore Kat Hughes has lead the Crimson offensively, as she is the leader in goals (6) and tied for the team lead in points (10).
- Freshman Brooke Jovanovich is right behind Hughes with four goals, six assists and 10 goals.
- The team comes in averaging 3.33 goals per game.
- The Crimson's penalty kill sits at 73.7% (28-for-38)
- Quinnipiac is 6-18-3 all-time against Harvard.
