
Abbie Ives Nominated for NC Women's Ice Hockey Hero of the Week

HAMDEN, Connecticut - Sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York) has been nominated for the NC Women's Ice Hockey HERO of the Week award, an award from HERO Sports that recognizes the best individual performances of the week for NCAA sports. Against Dartmouth, Ives made 15 stops in a 1-0 loss. The next day, she made 15 saves in a 2-1 victory over Harvard. Ives allowed the fewest goals of ECAC goaltenders that started both games last weekend.
