Bobcats Honored Tyler Mannion, Connor McAlary and Reed Kramer in Senior Day Ceremony Following the Meet
NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut – The Quinnipiac men's cross country team pushed through the field to place 14th out of 18 teams on Friday afternoon at the CCSU Mini Meet. In the shortened 5k course at Stanley Quarter Park close to the campus of CCSU, Tyler Mannion (Brookfield, Connecticut) paced a steady effort from the Bobcats who now move on in preparing for the 2017 MAAC Championships next weekend.

- Quinnipiac honored the Bobcats' three-member senior class (Mannion, Reed Kramer and Connor McAlary) following the conclusion of the meets
- Mannion made headlines, placing first on the team for the first time in his career on Senior Day
- Mannion made the most of his effort, improving upon his previous-best 82nd place finish at the CCSU Mini Meet (sophomore season)
- Tommy Consalvo (Brookfield, Connecticut) and Ryan Ansel (Danbury, Connecticut) ran right with Mannion to lead the Bobcats, finishing just 0.1 seconds behind the senior
- Just one week away from the MAAC Championship, head coach Josh Glaab chose to have his runners run a slower tempo pace on the shorter 5k course
