von Stetten, Livingston Lead Bobcats at Jasper Fall Invite

MONTGOMERY, N.Y. — Sophomore Slater von Stetten and first year Shepard Livingston led the Quinnipiac men's cross country team to an eighth place finish on Saturday at the Jasper Fall Invite, besting three MAAC foes in a preview of the 2025 conference championship to be held in six weeks at the site of Saturday's meet.
von Stetten was one of three Bobcats to finish inside the top 50 to lead them in scoring, placing 40th on the overall leaderboard. Livingston placed 43rd and classmate Tyler Deme placed 46th as all three runners finished within seven seconds of each other.
Quinnipiac surged up the leaderboard after a slow start, going out in 15th after the first 440m. They climbed three spots at the 4065m mark and were able to jump all the way up to eighth as they ran past fellow conference rivals Sacred Heart, Manhattan and Saint Peter's.
First years Preston Gumann (66th) and Michael Goodson III (78th) wrapped up the scoring for Quinnipiac.

The Bobcats resume their season on Oct. 3 at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.
