Quinnipiac men's ice hockey senior Alex Barron was featured in the New Haven Register in an article by college hockey writer Chip Malafronte on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.

Barron, currently in his final season at Quinnipiac after arriving for the 2012-13 season, has played on defense and as a forward for the Bobcats this season. In 87 career games, Barron has accumulated four goals and 15 assists for 19 career points. Barron posted his first career multiple-goal game against UMass in a 3-2 loss on Nov. 28.
