A versatile athlete, Scott hit .239 her last two seasons, compiling 54 hits, nine doubles and five home runs. She knocked in 20 RBI while scoring 47 runs of her own over that time and proved a strong fit for Texas Tech's style of play, drawing 23 walks and stealing 22 bases.
Scott was Academic All-Big 12 from 2014-16 and graduated with her bachelor's degree in 2015. She later earned a master's in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management in 2017 while working as a graduate assistant on the Red Raider staff.
A native of Broken Arrow, Okla., Scott was a four-year letter-winner at Broken Arrow High School, leading the Tigers to the Oklahoma Class 6A State Championship in 2008 and 2009. She was a four-time all-conference selection and earned all-state and all-region honors her senior year.
