Before Quinnipiac: AttendedToms River High School North where she received 12 varsity lettersas a cross country, indoor and outdoor track athlete...Was the 2007and 2008 South Jersey State Sectional Champions in crosscountry...Her cross country team won several championshipsincluding the Group Four Championships in 2007, the ShoreConference Championships in 2009, the South Jersey Group FourChampionships for three straight years, the Ocean CountyChampionships in 2008 and 2009, and the Class "A" South CrossCountry Champions in 2008...Helped lead her indoor track team to anOcean Country Championship in 2008 and 2009...Received the OceanCounty Sportsmanship of the Year Award in 2010...Received numerousawards as a cross country runner, including the Most Improved Awardin 2007, the Most Dedicated Award in 2008, and the Most ValuableRunner in 2009...Was selected to the cross country All-Shore thirdteam and the All-County second team in 2008...Was named All-Countyin 2010...Was named Most Dedicated on her indoor and outdoor trackteams in 2010...Ran the 1,600-meter race in 5:21; the 3,200-meterrace in 11:39; and cross country's 5k in 19:12.
